Jed Simms, Founding Partner

Jed has been a pioneer in the area of project delivery and related activities for over 30 years. His experience includes business strategy, performance improvement and IT systems management. Jed has pioneered real time systems (in the early 1970s), office automation (in the early 1980s), business-IT management (in the early 1990s) and IT benefit and value generation (currently). He has authored many books and related material, and is a guest lecturer on business project delivery management at leading institutions.

He was previously a senior member in Andersen (now Accenture), Head of Strategy for a large Bank, and prior to establishing Capability, the Asia Pacific Head of BCG's strategic-IT practice

Vince Gill, Partner, Capability Consulting

Vince has over twenty years experience successfully helping a large number of organisations with their technology-dependent programmes. His delivery experience includes numerous principal roles in successful higher-profile package-software implementations, and advisory experience includes design and review roles for large and complex initiatives across multiple sectors. Today, his focus is on strategic yet practical advice to help optimise organisational capability to deliver. Vince holds a number of relevant qualifications and certifications.

He previously held a number of lead roles in professional service firms, including Atos Origin, BearingPoint, Oakton, and prior to joining Capability, the Australian Lead for KPMG's IT Project Advisory service.

Alex Chapman, Partner, Capability Development

Alex has over twenty six years experience, in carrying major systems through from concept to implementation, in managing major business transformation programmes and in aligning technology and business processes to customer values and business strategy to deliver substantial competitive and bottom line impact for companies.

She has previously held a number of lead roles in multiple sectors, is the immediate past President of the Australian Cranfield Association, and prior to joining Capability, Ernst & Young Consulting.

An end state whose realisation can be simply measured, by anyone WITH A TRUE/FALSE QUESTION. This clarity ensures no confusion as to achievement. Our Desired Business Outcomes are the primary measure of business success, and Project Outcomes the primary measure of a (change) project’s success.
